1.3 Specifies the teaching approaches you’ll use & the learning environs you’ll create to support the social dimensions of early literacy/numeracy

WEEK11 READING BLOGTECHNICIAN – HOW DO I CRACK THIS CODE?

The purpose of this New Zealand Ministry of Education Resource is to support early childhood educators in cultivating mathematical thinking in their day-to-day interactions with young children. The site has many ideas of mathematic interactions based on learning progressions, specifically number, measurement and shape in the early years. As educators it is important to understand how mathematics progresses, while taking cues during their play we can provide suitable provocations for children’s mathematical thinking.

I know this resource will come in very handy when brainstorming for fresh and new ideas for maths sessions/lessons.
